Thanks gumby. I'm doing better this evening. I just needed to have a good cry. I got a notice from the bank that my checking account was overdrawn. I usually keep at least $5k buffer in there. So, I went and checked and there was an entry in there for Misc withdrawal for $7077. When I looked at the pic of the debit, it said something about family catering services. Since the bank (suntrust by the way) was closed, I decided to look up family catering services and gave them a call. And sure enough the lady made a withdrawal, but she was trying to do so from her account. Suntrust made a typo or something, and the money was instead taken out of my account.
Last night, my cat with cancer didn't want to eat dinner and curled up in his little cave just like he did when the vet said the tumor was constricting his trachea not allowing him to eat or swallow. But thankfully this morning, he started eating again, but I'm still worried about him.
Between my health issues, my cat, my hubby's eyes still being red and irritated despite steroid drops, and the bank mistake - that was sorta the last straw. I bawled my eyes out, and now, surprisingly, I'm fine. I guess it was cathartic. I still have to go to the bank tomorrow to sort out their mistake . . .
Health insurance is definitely a must for us. Don't feel bad about your husband having to work; it is a partnership, and if the tables were turned, you'd do it for him. That's what I tell my husband whenever he feels bad about limiting my choices.
Are you getting enough calories in you everyday? When you feel bad, you probably don't feel like eating. Make sure you are consuming enough calories. Also, is the dizziness when you stand up suddenly, or is it constant? It could be BP related. If you are on BP meds, and you have a sodium/potassium imbalance, you could be dizzy and fatigued a lot as well. Do check your BP to see if it is normal. Did your blood work include inflammation markers?
you know, one other thing is you have really been through the wringer recently. Surgery, cdiff . . . Very very tough on body. I know when my hubby came out of the hospital, his energy was very very low and he would tire very very easily and needed lots of rest. He only got back to a semblance of his former self like 8 months after he got out of the hospital. He actually worked from home for almost 6 months so that he could sleep whenever he needed to. Maybe your body needs you to be gentle, take plenty of rest and slowly build up. Don't push yourself too hard. And measure progress in weeks not days.
Hang in there. You will get to feeling normal again. ((Hugs))
Thanks for your support!
