I posted a while ago and I just wanted to follow up. what i did, may not be for everyone. i stopped all meds in may 2014, i had a rough summer. i start seeing a naturalpathic dr in nov, 2014. by december i started remission. He told me it may take a while. heres is what i did. 1, stopped my medication. 2 quit taking immodium. 3. lactose and gluten free. 4 live probiotics and digestive enzymes. 4 organic fish oils. 5. find a good chiropractor that practices naturatpatic medicine. 7. eat healthy. 8. dont stress do meditation, yoga. 8 i detoxed, prescribed by my dr, it was not harsh, did not cause diaherra. the worst side exxect i gained 5 lbs, lol. I feel so much better and i am enoying remission. chrons is like a sleeping bear you cant be constantly poking it. I know when i am in remission i still have to be cautious what i eat, i know i need to avoid stress, also aniexty plays a good part in chrons, and though we say we have none , just a faimily outing to a friends house causes stress., and anxiety only because of bathroom issues. I know it may not last, I know I may have issues from not taking my meds. I have been sick since 1993, I have tried the medical route and never had remission. This is the first time in a while I can eat a meal in public, and not get sick. I am just enjoying it.
