My mom is prepping with miralax and dulcolax. Her colonoscopy is in 8 hours and she is still having normal bm's. It's not watery.

When I prepped, I had watery bm's. I'm concerned for her, she is 65 with rheumatoid arthritis

Well, how did it go? Sometimes it takes a bit for the miralax to kick in, but it works.

Dr couldn't do it. Too much waste. Nurse told my mom she has "slow transit" and will try in a few weeks with a 2day prep

I'm sorry your mom will have to go through that again :( I used Prepopik for my scope a few weeks ago and I didn't think it was going to work, but it ended up working after the second dose. It was much better than some of the other preps because you only have to drink two 5 oz drinks!

After, dr came in the room and said "it's not good"...really got my mom upset. Keep in mind, my mom doesn't have digestive issues like me.
