Incision Healing

Hello, I just had a resection 2 weeks ago, and ended up staying in the hospital longer than expected. I have been home for a few days, but noticing that some staples on my incision are getting these very small white blisters along their base. The incision itself doesn't have these blisters, just some of the staples. I cant say I have been extremely sedentary so wonder if I am causing too much pulling or something. Has anyone experienced this, or know if it is reason for alarm? Also, one of my incisions is vertical through my belly button and I am noticing periodically in the belly button a small about of clearish-pink fluid. It is a very small amount, and I know early on in the hospital they said this was good and a sign of healing, but should it still be happening after 2 weeks?

Thanks for the response. yes, I am on prednisone although trying to taper off it since the surgery. The only redness is a tiny bit around the base of the staples, which in the hospital they said was normal. I will give a call tomorrow if its still going on. Normally I heal quickly from things but I think the prednisone has been throwing me for a loop :(.
