I have had Crohn's for more than 30 years. I have been fortunate to only have 1 surgery. I have been on B-12 injections for more than 20 years. They are very important as you can develop pernicious anemia. Even with the B-12 I have symptoms of pernicious anemia. I have been very forgetful for a long. I have extreme fatigue and now my hair is really thinning. This the second time I have gone through the thinning. The first was during a really bad flair. It never all came back so now it's really getting thin. There are a lot of bad things that can happen without the B-12. Make sure to take your injections very regularly. I used to be kind of lax with them and I've paid the price.
Hope this finds you feeling well,
Judi
