I get nauseous when I am really constipated. Laxatives aren't great in the long term, but until you can get with your GI to see what's up, I think they can help. You can try Miralax, which is totally safe for Crohn's. It will make your stools softer and easier to pass. It doesn't work well for me because I have slow motility. I use Senokot....sometimes just 1/2 of a tablet is enough to help me, but you can experiment and see what works for you.
Zofran does come in a non-dissolvable pill form, so you can ask for that too. You can also call your GI office and ask to be put on a cancellation list and maybe you can get in sooner. If you are still taking the Norco, then that definitely contributes to constipation and you should try to get off of it. You can't survive on just water....if you really can't take in any nutrition, then maybe you need to be in the hospital. But if you can, just try to eat very mild foods....cream of wheat (if you don't have gluten issues) scrambled eggs, soup, whatever you can take in. Sorry you are having such a rough time.
