I had my first infusion of Entyvio today, it went really well. I cannot believe how easy it was.
Does anyone have any experience with how long it takes before it starts to work?
Thanks.

Well in my case, it didn't work. My GI mentioned around 14 weeks that i was a failure. I think in the study, most people had seen result by 10 weeks. Though on the UC board, I've seen people saying they were seeing improvements finally after many months. Good luck.

It could be a while. People are finding that it is very slow to start working. Give it 2 to 4 months. (Keep in mind that Imuran and 6-MP typically take that long to start working too. We are getting spoiled by the fast-acting anti-TNF's.)
I've been on Entyvio for almost a year and a half. I was in pretty good shape when I started on it, just having had surgery which helped a great deal. But I did still have two fistulas. They both closed in September, a full 14 months after starting Entyvio.

My GI says expect 2-3 months (for ulcerative colitis), so I am continuing on other meds until some benefit is seen. I also just started (one infusion to date). At least no side effects after the first week.

Had 7 infusions, no results, coming off Entyvio.
Give it a maximum of 5 to see SOME improvements, if none I suggest you go to something else. See my other thread on Combo Therapy, it is under Stelara heading.

Received my 4th dose of entyvio. It's a miracle. I can eat, exercise and function pretty much as a healthy person. I feel like I did before this Crohns curse hit me.
