Does anyone else get brain fog while taking prednisone where they can't think straight or concentrate on anything. I feel like I can't keep a postive mind and can't follow a conversation so I don't feel like talking. I'm always emotional and I feel like I'm a different person now. Is this the prednisone or am I depressed from the tough year I have had ?? Has anyone else felt like this on this medication

I've been on pred a few times in the distant past and I don't recall the mind fog. I do recall the emotional rollercoaster tho. That stuff definately messed with my emotions. Yeah battling the Crohns didn't help at the time I but I know for sure that the Pred heightened all emotions. I could rattle off a whole bunch of side effects but it's different for everyone. Hope you feel better!

I was on prednisone and Entocort, now I'm just on Entocort. I was ok with the pred, but the Entocort has made me have anxiety, fatigue, irritability. Steroids can make you not feel like yourself :(

Back in July I was having similar symptoms. It turned out my potassium was very low. Have you had yours checked. I currently take entacort with no problems

Prednisone messes with my mind, tremendously. I am back on it again due to a flare and Tysabri quitting working. It is just an in-between until I can get on something long term again.
Are you on this stuff long or short term? Did you talk with your doc about
other stuff? Otherwise, Entocort is another option.. though never worked for me. I guess you could say my disease is in the difficult realm.....
