Anyone ever take MOVI-PREP for your colonoscopy? What to expect?

These suggestions were terrific! I wound up just about using them all! I mixed mine with cold lemon lime sugar free Gatorade, held my nose and and chugged it through a straw, then after each 'chug' swished Sprite Zero around for the after taste. Wasn't bad at all! Not good, but not nearly what I had expected. And was over much quicker than I thought. Started about 6:30 pm and for the most part the 'experience' was over by 11:00 pm. I it picked back up a little bit in the morning before starting round 2, but wasn't up all night as I was afraid I would be.
Someone said (here or on another thread) that is really has a lot to do with how you look at it. Going into it with the expectation that there will be vomiting or that it will be a horrendous experience will make it just that for you. I have a vomit phobia and was a little afraid of that, but as long as I didn't smell it while I drank it, it was just fine.

Round 2 was pretty much uneventful, processed it the same way. Much better than my first experience!

Update to the above: 1 Liter gone plus one vist to the toilet .... no problems so far ! !

Colonoscopy done ,,, 4 polyps found and removed, it was no big deal ... I've had worse visits to the dentist. The air which they pump into your colon can cause a little pain, like when you have eaten something that gives you gas. Mother Nature has a way of relieving this. A follow up Sigmoidoscopy is planned in 3 months just to check that the polyp site is clear, all in all, nothing to fear, a walk in the park.

Yep can understand that pb4 ..... count myself as being lucky..

about how long after starting the solution does the diarrhea stop? I am scheduled for a colonoscopy at 8:30am, supposed to arrive at 7:30 AND have an hour drive there. They have me to start the 2nd solution container at 4am that very morning...A bit worried about my drive! Will need to be done running to the bathroom by 6:30am, so only 2.5 hours after starting it. Possible?

On my first colonoscopy I had to drink Kleen prep this bought me to tears as it was so revolting! My second I had the Moviprep which was slightly better not by much but you definitely have the better choice! I put my iPod in as loud as o could and necked a tumbler glass full every 15 mins I found this a better way and after every neck I did I sucked a sherbet lemon and had a glass of cordial to drink after! I'm rubbish at drinking anyway so for me to do so much of this nasty stuff was a Miracle!! If I can do it anyone can good luck! Once you've done that it's the worst bit over and done with!

After colonoscopy: Movi-prep and the intended results were uneventful. If you've ever had diarrhea while sitting on the commode, that's all this is. It'll clean you out until you expel clear, or nearly clear liquid. Good for you.

Next, the colonoscopy. Under anesthesia these days and not a thing to worry about or to be ashamed about. These professionals chose this as a line of work and your bum is just one of the many they regularly do. You're not that special. Don't worry about it.

I had a clean bill of health; "Thank you Lord," and I am very glad to say I don't have to go back for another decade. Better still, now when I see my medical chart I don't have to see the urgent warning at age 56: "Colonoscopy overdue."

It's a life saver, folks. Please don't be afraid or too modest to get this test done.

Today I had a light up my bum. I had a camera up there, too. So what. Good for me. Literally, the examination was good for the preservation of my health and it provided peace of mind.
