Am on Remicade.. I have been having a lot of joint pain and bone pain.
After 13 X-ray and blood work they are saying it's probably crohns related...has anyone else had these issues..please advise

I'm sure someone will chime in with a lot more knowledge then I have but joint and bone pain is definitely part of my Crohn's. Luckily for me it comes and goes so I may go three or four months without it and suddenly it returns for no apparent reason.

I have pain all over my body. Saw RA Dr. and he said its prob crohns related. Every day is a surprise, different parts of my body hurt.

Joint pain is also a side effect of Remicade. It can cause drug-induced Lupus. Ask your Doctor if this could be a cause.

My Gastro Dr. told me Humira is suppose to help my Crohns and joint pain. I hurt the most at bedtime. As long as I'm moving I ignore it but once I'm still the joints ache.I'm exhausted can't sleep because of pain. Can't have any NSAIDs.My primary care Dr. says I'm probably building antibodies to Humira.How do they determining Humira is working. My Crohns is under control but this joint pain is annoying and constant.

I have bad joint pain too and severe tendonitis in both shoulders and six weeks of physical therapy hasn't helped . Going to endocrinologist next week for adrenal insufficiency testing. Rheumatologist told me this could be from steroid use.

The only time my arthritis changed really was when I had a serious infection. The pain became much worse and centered more in certain areas, such as my hips. Is this joint pain a new thing for you, or has it gotten a lot worse?

I have had this joint pain since October 2015. I went to the endocronoligist last week. We are doing lots of labs. I will get results on the 18th. I have had a horrible year last year with 6 hospital admissions. After surgeries I finally feel good but my shoulders are killing me. I am having a hard time finding doctors that will listen I know I am not crazy. If I can get this pain taken care of I could say I'm doing great. I'm so frustrated!!!

Hi there,

I was on Remicade for about 5 years, I think, and was diagnosed with drug induced lupus. Since then, I've to find a new rheumy and he thinks it could have been Crohn's arthritis all along and not drug induced lupus. When it flares up (whatever it is), my joints get VERY swollen, very warm to the touch, and red. It lasts for weeks and sometimes months. I stopped Remicade about 2 1/2 years ago and will be starting Humira soon. I hope you can get some help and answers soon!

Do you work? How do you keep a job? I can't wash my hair, put on most clothes. I was on long term disability and was terminated. I want to work and bring income in but can barely move my shoulders?
