Rectal fullness/ache

Hi all! I am waiting to hear back from my GI and thought I'd reach out in the hopes someone here has dealt with something similar. I've been experiencing rectal discomfort for a couple of weeks now. Before this I'd been in remission for years(thanks to remicade) after a Flare with 3 perianal fistulas and ileocolonic disease. I thought my infusion of remicade(10mg/kg) last week would help to alleviate my symptoms, but it's only proven to help a little. The ache/throb-and frequent urge to go to the bathroom(without success) comes and goes but there is a constant low discomfort. Sometimes it hurts to sit, and sometimes to bend over. It doesn't really hurt to go to the bathroom, and the only cramping I'm experiencing is higher-like true stomach cramps. I also found that I experienced throbbing discomfort in my rectum after intercourse.

I don't have any bleeding, or mucus, and I'm only taking about 4 successful trips to the bathroom a day. So...has anyone experienced this and discovered it to be not Crohn's related?

Here's hoping!! Can internal hemmorrhoids cause aching? I'm nervous to go down the abscess/fistula route again so I'm admittedly jumpy at the first sign of pain down there! Never thought I'd wish for hemmorrhoids!

Have you got proctitis (inflammation of the rectum ) but these are immediately controlled after a remicade infusion? These are just thoughts. Hope things get better soon.
