Did anyone notice this really annoying line?
"Its cause is still not known and there is currently no cure but the condition is often managed with diet and sometimes surgery."
It's the Daily Mail.
They're obsessed with diet, so I wouldn't expect anything less from them. It is remiss that they don't mention medication, although at least they link to NHS Choices as their source. Anyone who follows that link will get basic but accurate info on Crohn's and its treatments.
@pmedic - That's sad and unfortunate. I think a similar burnout must happen to nurses as well. They will leave patients crying in distress for absolutely ages sometimes, even when they could tend to them earlier; I've seen it during my hospital stays.
