Hi everyone, I just started Remicade after a year and a half of prednisone (no help, made me psychotic), Imuran and Budesonide (horrible side effects from Imuran, had to quit after 2 weeks, bizzarre reactions to Budesonide as well), Pentasa and Salofalk (waste of time) finally surgery in Jan 07 and now down to Remicade... anyway, my disability / health plan soon runs out and I was curious if anyone on this board lives in Ontario and has been on Remicade through the Trillium drug plan; I have heard that the plan only covers 60 infusions?? what are you supposed to do after that? I have spent the last month looking for any kind of private insurance that I could buy and of course I am not insurable... anyone who is in remission and managed to get approved for life / disability insurance with pre-existing Crohn's, please get in touch and let me know when and how, and how much
thanks,
chris ( 38 years old, Toronto, diagnosed in April 06)
