Hello everyone,
I'm posting on here because I've gotten good responses in the past, which I very much appreciate!
So I've been on Humira and Imuran for a little over six months now (I was on them both before but then I lost my insurance and was off them for a while..long story).
Anyways, I just had a colonoscopy done last week and fortunately my Crohn's hasn't spread, although it apparently is definitely still active. My doctor wants me to continue taking my medicine and I found out today my next appointment with him is at the end of September.
But I have been feeling awful lately. I've been in a lot of pain, I've felt very dehydrated (i.e. constantly thirsty no matter how much I drink, and a constant dry mouth/sour taste in my mouth) and for the past 3 days, I've been getting 101 degree fevers every night.
My question is..is this something of concern that I should call my doctor about? Obviously I'm not feeling the greatest because my disease is still active, but I'm not sure if there's any point in calling him about it since I'm already obviously on treatment. I guess I'm just not sure if these are concerning symptoms or par for the course that I should just deal with..at least until I go back to see him at the end of the month.
Opinions or advice? I would greatly appreciate it, and thank you to anyone for reading/responding!
