steroid acne

Yes! Are yours red or skin tones? I have had them since I was on prednisone in April. I even get acne/spots on my neck and jaw that I never got before! It's very frustrating and upsetting but with all the other things I've had going on I haven't had a chance to look into it. I scrub my face multiple times a day with a natural scrub and that's the only thing that keeps it tolerable. I was put on bactrim the antibiotic for a suspected Ito and while I was on it the spots completely disappeared but the doc had me stop because they ruled out a uti so I lost the good side effect of clearing my skin and it eventually returned becuAse I did not complete the course so my guess is it may be an infection.

I forgot what they are called but I know I looked those up at sometime because I was bothered by the sight of them too. I'm not sure how long I had them but I know it was long enough that I thought they'd never go away but I can tell you that they have disappeared completely so give it more time and try not to stress too much about it. It's been about 5 months since I was on steroids,or a little less than that. I use a natural face scrub which might have helped, I'm not sure but it is gone so have hope!
