Hi everyone!

I'm Filipino. Diagnosed with Crohn's for 14 years. I've been looking for fellow Filipinos like me who are suffering from crohn's or ulcerative colitis. IBD is rare in the Philippines. But i think there are more who are being diagnosed now. It would be nice not to feel alone in this and to share stories with you. smile

I part Filipino; my dad's family is from Cavite.
I was diagnosed in Hawaii, when there were hardly any asians with Crohn's.
How you doing?

Are you based in Hawaii? How many years have you had IBD? What are your meds? Before it was as if we were nonexistent. But now, i heard many are getting diagnosed. We just have to find each othere. smile

Do you know other Filipinos here who have IBD?

No, I don't know any Filipinos with IBD.
This year will be the 20th anniversary of my diagnosis.
We just lived in Hawaii after we left the PI because of Pinatubo.
I'm only on Remicade now, have been on it since May 2010.

Hello. I am also Filipino. I've been initially diagnosed with Crohn's around 15 years ago. But the latest doctor i have been to around 4 years ago says it is UC. Anyway, i hope we can share with each other our experiences.

Hello po,i am also diagnosed of chrohn's disease recently lang..sobra depress po ako kasi hindi ko pa din po matanggap. as they are telling no cure at long time treatment. i am simple woman na nagwork here in UAE.i am planning to go back in the Philippines for good kaso eto naman nagyari sakin.please help me how you manage and live as normal life when you diagnosed chrons disease? feeling ko yung health anxiety ko nagpapahina ng katwan ko
