This post is kind of off topic. Its not really related with crohn's.I am just looking for some inputs from you folks.
So two years ago I was diagnosed with a kidney stone.Later another one.So I try to take limited amount of protein.Avoiding all kinds of meats etc.
And after that I have been drinking water a bit too much.
Its become a bit obsession.Like if I drink less water I am afraid I gonna have one of those darn stones. That
can cause a lot of stress.
like before kidney stone diagnosis I probably drank like 1 liter to 1.5/2.0 liter of water a day, it probably varied a lot from day to day.I really didn't care about
how much water I was taking. But after kidney stone diagnosis, I started drinking like 5-6 liters of water a day for a couple of months. Then I realized it was probably too much. Now I am drinking water about
3.6/3.7 liters a day.It is much less than 5-6 liters, but It's still a lot of water.I take it by taking 7/8 big mug(the mug holds around 400-440 ml of water more or less) of water every day by spreading the drinking of every mug of water every 2-3 hours/or you can say that it's the interval more or less.
But I have read too much water wash away necessary vitamins etc from intestines etc.
So does drinking around 3.7 liter of water a day also wash away other very important digestive biles/enzymes that are necessary for proper digestion of different kinds of food that a person eat everyday.
Could it effect my bowel and other related stuff like constipation due to not properly digested food because of taking too much water which wash away the bile or enzymes?
If so does it make my liver overwork with releasing more bile/enzymes etc to compensate for washed away bile and enzymes for digestion.
What do you think?Any advice?
