I have this problem as well. I've had high triglycerides for years and I'm a little skinny mini. They are in the same range as yours. Yes, they say steroids may increase your levels, but I was off them for 5 years and it made little difference. With my most recent surgery, I was told I have inflammation in my pancreas (of long standing) surgeon said pancreatitis, which may have something to do with the way fats are absorbed in the body?
The one thing I have used in the past and it really works for me is bottled Flax oil. I took a tbsp. a day in a very small juice glass, mixed with a pinch of warm water and gulped it down. Barely taste it this way. Brought my levels down quite a bit in a short time, but one has to keep it up, to stay that way. They say fish oil is very good too, but I am allergic to some of the fatty fish they use, so prefer Flax. Good luck with yours
