Hoping for dx soon. First post.

For the last month i've had litte appetite. Lots of gas bloating and belching( ulcer maybe)and stomach noise. Ive lost at least 10 pounds, ive had severe constipation and when i do have BM's they are small or thin. My grandmother struggled with crohns for 40 years. I have appt with my pcp tomorrow who will hopefully do my bloodwork and refer me to a gi. Im hoping its just an ulcer but I wanted to thank the members of this community for giving me glimpses into their lives and personal struggles. You have answed many questions without even knowing it. I will uodate as to the test results when i can. Wishing you all the best....

The disease runs in my family, so I understand your concerns and hope you and your physicians can find out what's going on. I actually noticed your post due to your name, McClain. I had a cousin by that last name who had Crohn's, which was surprising to me since he was on the opposite side of my family, as far as Crohn's goes.
