yellow pus with gas and little stool- what is happening

ok guys

so i do not know what is going on or if i have crohn's because they cannot seem to find anything
i have a small bowel imaging test in few weeks but i am having symptoms that are highly indicative of crohn's but nothing can be found and now i am having testing for other problems that i do not think i have that are not related to GI


i now have yellow pus in stool
it was very little stool and the pus came out with gas.......
that is why i find it extremely bizarre

i do not want to go to hospital because they cannot ever find anything
so
i have extreme weakness, fatigue, and joint pain along with this
and abdominal pain in right side with loud noises coming from stomach. TMJ too. extreme weight loss despite eating a lot. 100 lbs at 5'7. frequent diarrhea.

they cannot find my problem and i am beginning to feel crazy and miserable.

what is yellow pus indicative of? and what can i do ? or is it nothing to worry about. this is the first time i have had that.

Have you seen a GI?

Is it pus or mucus? Does it smell? Are you in pain? Is there any blood? How many times are you going a day? Are you on any medications? What tests have you had completed and what were the results?

I am not trying to be invasive. I just want to make sure I understand.

no medications
just advil and tylenol 3 for pain

I have a GI- he ordered the small bowel imaging test but sent me to a rheumatologist
the rheumatologist told me that he thinks this is GI related, but GI really does not think so-- says it is all coincidental that colonoscopy did not indicate anything, so he has ordered the test but is saying this is just IBS

i think it is mucus not pus - no blood.
yes very much in pain
i am having diarrhea 5 - 10 times per day, regularly

tests i have done are blood tests, CT that showed mild inflammation that warranted the colonoscopy, where they found nothing

my entire body is in pain
but my right side of abdomen especially.
sometimes i can barely walk without feeling like i will collapse

no one can find what i have wrong
and i am sick of it

update: same thing just happened
except i had to run to the bathroom because it felt like i would have explosive diarrhea. which has happened to me quite a bit. once while i was in bed and was really disgusting.
but i did not have diarrhea i had little poo with gas and what i believe is mucus.

I had that happen to me. My GI could not find anything, all blood tests came back normal, colonscopy came back with mild inflammation, and the biopsies came back normal......for almost a year.

I went to 3 different GIs looking for answers. Same thing until suddenly in a 3 week period I developed an abscess and then a fistula..and ended up in the hospital with sepsis.

My best advice is to go to a GI, research and find the best GI at a teaching/research hospital and go to them for a second opinion....and keep following up. I would rely on science based studies. Personally I would keep a journal with what I ate and how/when BUms occurred plus how I felt. ...I changed my diet and followed the SCD diet and it seemed to help me. I avoided milk, glutton, sugar and carbohydrates. I now have a colostomy so I can eat more fruits and vegetables....but I still have trigger foods. I kept and still keep a diary. The doctors can not tell you what your triggers will be. You will need to keep track and have to figure it out. That is one of the most frustrating (and rewarding) thing about this disease. (If you have it. Even if you have IBS- keep the journal. It helped my friend figure out what impacted her IBS...and she changed her diet)

Sometimes people get a diagnosis right away...sometimes they don't.

I am truly sorry you are going thru this. I understand the fear and uncertainty and the wanting answers ASAP. I hope you feel better soon. If you have any questions feel free to ask....

thank you so much. your post is really helpful and makes me feel so much better to know that someone has dealed with same frustration.
i am SO sorry for what you have gone through in the past with this. that sounds miserable. really sorry. even if this just is IBS, which maybe it is, I cannot imagine having those serious complications and being able to deal with it so well, as you did. you are very strong. x
i will follow your advice. i really appreciate it.

i am actually right now feeling as though i will pass out.
and i feel very weak.
but there is no use going to a hospital, as they really do not do much and seem to not understand at all.

what i would like to know though is if i do have crohn's and i do not know yet
is mucus passed with gas indicative of anything really dangerous if it is this ?
