Hi! Sorry, I know this is a late response, but I had a pretty high elevated fecal fat test, and that led to a fecal calprotectin...which led to a capsule endoscopy and a crohn's diagnosis! The fecal fat was the first indicator that something other than IBS was going on. My SIBO test was normal. The test was such a pain! For someone already feeling sick, having to eat 100 grams of fat a day is just crazy. I had to isolate myself at home for the full 6 days. Some of these tests are really hard on the body, I've found, but they are a necessary evil.
