Anyone have good results with generic of Imuran or the probiotic VSL-3?

My son (age 21) takes probiotic VSL - 3 and feels it has been the best probiotic thus far for him. His GI doctor told him that it was the best probiotic for Crohn's. He has taken it for 6 months. He also is on remicade, methotrexate, folic acid and colestipol.

I really liked VSL #3, I just always forgot to take it because it needs to be refrigerated (it has live cultures). Imuran didn't work for me at all (not sure if I took the generic or not), and I ended up with a pretty rare side effect of pancreatitis that was pretty nasty (but that is NOT common, so please don't let that scare you).
