I was diagnosed 5 month ago with crohn's never got diharrea however I was put on prednisone for 3 month then on Aza, in the last two days I'm having lots of gas and the first day I got diharrea once and today twice does it mean that aza is not working and my disease is progressing or what any info would be appreciated.

It takes aza 6 months to work. How much are you taking? You should be getting a blood test to see if it's at a therapeutic dose. Is it being combined with another medication like a biologic?

It takes aza from 4 -6 months to start working. Did the blood test show that the WBCs got lowered? Are you on a brand aza or the generic one? When I took the generic aza, for 8 months my WBCs got elevated and only after switching to Imuran, they were down to the normal range which means inflammation was reduced.

I'm on a brand called Azaram, and my WBC reduced from 9400 to 6400

As others pointed out, it can take several months for azathioprine to work.
Additionally, your dose is a little low - it's typically 2.5mg/kg of body weight. That puts your dose at 150mg, not 100mg.
How long have you been taking it? Did you start at 50mg/day or 100mg/day? In any case, try going up to 150mg and see if you tolerate that dose ok. Continue to get regular blood tests.
