New and need help

Hello my name is Verona and I was diagnosed with Crohn's almost five years ago. I have tried so many different medications and literally nothing has worked. I have tried Pentasa, Humira, Entocort, Azathioprine, Budesonide, Cimzia, Remicade, Imuran, Methotraxate, Prednisone, and currently I am on Entyvio. I think I have had about 5 infusions. I was feeling better for a little but this past week has been horrible. For the first time ever I have diarrhea. I have never heard anyone talk about constipation and CD everyone always has diarrhea except for me, I literally have to take laxatives frequently. After a while medications just stop working for me. With Remicade I got an allergic reaction after three doses. The rest just stopped nothing is helping. I tried living off on just ensure for months and it helped a lot but I became so exhausted of ensure I couldn't do it anymore, the smell right away just disgusts me. I have tried to do only ensure again but its so hard to just not be able to eat. I am honestly so exhausted of this and I have no idea what I am supposed to try next. My GI told me I dont have a lot of medications left to try and I would have to take medications used in clinical studies but so much can go wrong with that I dont think its worth it. I am open to any advice you guys have. Thank you.

I second what NCOT is advising. Stelera is getting very good reviews, and would definitely be worth looking into. I would also recommend checking into QUBiologics. They are doing a Phase 3 trial soon, and sound promising.

Constipation is definitely very common with Crohn's sufferers. The only thing I would like to know is why you're getting constipation. It might just be your body's natural reaction, but I would consider getting some dignostics done, just to rule out any blockages, or stricturing.

It's so tough dealing with this disease at times, especially when you haven't been able to get on a successful treatment plan. Hope you're feeling better soon.
