Sudden acute gas/bloating

Soooo.....why is it that "out of nowhere, like RIGHT NOW MOVE YOUR ASS!!!!" bloating slams me as if someone hooked up a compressed air tank to my butt and turned it on full blast????
I don't understand this part of Crohn's....just sitting there, and BAM! Like my guts pulled a ripcord on a self inflating life raft.....0-100 in a matter of seconds so to speak. Thoughts?

I don't have any real advice here. Just wanted to say I have the crazy gas too. Although, having no rectum or colon, it all comes up, and fast, it's not fun. Sometimes it only lasts minutes, sometimes hours.

I think I know what you're describing. It has only happened to me 2-3x and its when I was severely constipated. I would sit on the toilet and felt like something sharp was being shoved up my rectum.

Does it happen shortly after meals? It sounds like an intolerance reaction to something you are eating. Most of the time my symptoms come on a few hours after eating, but sometimes I get an almost immediate reaction and I get bloating, stomach gurgles and discomfort. Your gut flora are probably all messed up.
