Hey everyone!
I was diagnosed with Crohn’s in 2017 officially but have been dealing with It my whole life
So I’m not sure if a flare is beginning. I haven’t been having D, but I get woken up every morning for the past few weeks with very bad cramping and stabbing pain in my lower abdomen. I have to get up fast, hunched over, to go poop. Sometimes It hurts too bad to push so I have to wait It out on the toilet, but after I go, the pain gets a little better. The past 3 days there has been some blood in my stool, and this morning there was something that look like bloody mucus floating in the toilet. Then around 5pm I had to rush home to use the bathroom in pain, but It wasn’t D. I have also been very nauseous every morning and night. I haven’t lost any weight, but I am still underweight.
For the past 3 weeks-month I have been so tired and fatigued that I spend most of my free time in bed, and when I’m at work, being in bed is all I look forward too because I feel so exhausted.
And then for the past 2 weeks my knees and shoulder have been very painful in the joints. If I have my legs bent for more than 5 minutes my knees ache really bad and then hurt to straighten and I can’t squat down. My left should hurts too bad to lift at all, but It wakes me up at night.
Lastly, my lower right abdomen where the ilium is, is always swollen and sticking out, and It feels like there’s a hard lump.
Please let me know if anyone has any suggestions, or has any idea if this sounds like a flare or the beginning of a flare, and if there is anything I should do.
Thanks so much!
