Remicade should be completely out of your body in about
6-months time (plus or minus depending on individual). It can be much faster if you have a lot of antibodies. It's just highly variable. If that is the cause then your joint pains should also resolve once the clearance is completed.
It really depends whether the joint pains are caused by having remicade, that is your body is actively attacking remicade within your circulatory system, or whether your joint pains are instead an extra-intestinal-manifestation of your IBD and completely unrelated to your meds. Sometimes we can get Rheumatoid arthritis as a second autoimmune condition. about
20-25% of IBD patients do develop joint pains over time, including many who are not on Remicade or any biologic. More info on that:
