What do you take for crohns related arthritis pain?

Can’t take ibuprofen...Tylenol helps only a little. Knee effusion twice in six months. Some back pain. I sometimes feel like a rusty tin man. Having a difficult time dealing with this. Can’t get into rheumatologist, recommended by orthopedic doctor, until January. I am hoping he does not suggest something that has serious side effects and dangers of worse health conditions.

I am going to try the ginger tea and ways to add the turmeric to my diet. I am interested in supplements, and hoping my gastroenterologist has a suggestion or two at my next appointment. Happy thanksgiving to you and thank you for taking the time to reply.
