That's pretty interesting! It would be interesting to see if a drug targeted at reducing the fungi would help with Crohn's.

Also, huh, wow. Had no idea dandruff could end up in the gut. Weird!

Thanks for posting that - it was interesting.

I do get dandruff sometimes. I use an anti-dandruff shampoo when I do, but maybe I ought to use one all the time <_<.

Does this mean we should start drinking anti-dandruff shampoo?

(I think I just got a great idea for a new blog selling a cure for IBD!)

Very interesting- I’ve had moderate dandruff issues all my life, never thought it was anything, though I had a rheumatologist point it out to me as a possible symptom of other conditions and I (and my other doctors) thought she was crazy, maybe not as much as I thought

interesting... i started to have dandruff 1 year or so before the first Crohn symptoms...right before the symptoms, my dandruff was really bad...

I do not have dandruff & know a lot of people that have it & they do not have IBD. I can't put much stock in this.
