Remicade Question

Deak, arthritis is caused by inflammation of a joint. Some people say Remicade helps with their joint pain, it did for me. But on the other hand some say they have worse joint pain. It's a mixed bag depending on the person.

I suggest you not take Aleve, it's an NSAID & anyone with an IBD is running a risk by taking it. Try something else, Tylenol, heat & ice packs or some of the analgesic patches OTC.

Wow. That naproxen helped. I took it with dinner and it did help with the pain. I do get my Remicade today. Im up to 800 mg. The doctor is testing to see how much is left in my system today. So I hope he adjusts it to 7 weeks.

I don't know how I had so much pain in my neck but it's mostly gone. (5 am) yes im an early riser.

My only explanation is that the wife had the window open all night on Saturaday night and the cold air must have made it really stiff. But I seemed to get hot and cold flashes and the pain was radiating down my back and even around to my chest. It affected my breathing.

I get Remecade at 12 today.
Anyone that knows me.... I am scheduled to see a surgeon. Just waiting for an appointment.

Dr. Steinhart in T.O. basically said the the fistulae are dormant and the scar tissue is my main problem. Not much inflammation. You can't treat scar tissue so after a CT and colonoscopy, they will be Cutting out a foot atleast. Honestly I can't wait.
