Your experience with LDN

Has anyone tried LDN with success while also taking gabapentin? If so what time did you take the meds and what strength? I'm 42 and have had Crohns for 30 years... One intestinal resection and have been managing with diet and lifestyle for 11 years, drug free, but its back with a vengeance from stress and now have severe scalp psoriasis and just want to get the autoimmune stuff in check... TIA

I can’t say whether LDN was or wasn’t effective for my Crohn’s, but it definitely helped my joint pain. Whenever I quit taking it, my knees and shoulders start hurting with a month or two.

What was your experience on it as far as dosing, time and side effects? I really want to try it but a little nervous.

I started with probably 1.5 mg and worked up to 3.5. I’m low weight, otherwise I’d have probably gone up to 4.5. I took it before I went to bed. For the first month, I’d wake up around 4am unable to go back to sleep, but after that, I actually slept much better than without LDN. Other than the temporary insomnia, I don’t think I had any other side effects. I think it’s a pretty safe med, since the dosage is so low.
