I posted this same question a few months ago. My gums and teeth are healthy and I go every six months for checkups and cleanings. But my gums do become inflamed, areas red and puffy, a mystery as to why. I use a gentle toothpaste without irritating additives, a soft toothbrush, no harsh mouthwashes. I asked my dentist if it could be connected to crohns...he did not think so...but said himself he knows nothing about
crohns. I have eye issues...skin issues...joint issues...makes sense to me that inflammation can strike anywhere.
