Yes, in a roundabout way. The the aza directly. If your immune system is over suppressed. you can become more susceptible to viruses.

This happened to my Daughter when she contracted Hand, Foot and Mouth. It became incredibly serious. She wasn't even able to produce antibodies to the disease. Finally, the Doctors took her off of Imuran for a couple of weeks. Once she recovered, she had her dose of Imuran lowered to 50mgs.

She's felt much better overall since then. Not getting as many colds and flus now.

Fourteen cases of COVID-19 have been reported to the registry so far:

United States: A 35 yo female with Crohn’s disease on budesonide. This patient was hospitalized but did not require intensive care or ventilator support.
Spain: A 24 yo female with ulcerative colitis on vedolizumab. This patient did not require hospitalization.
Switzerland: A 23 yo male with Crohn’s disease on Infliximab. The patient did not require hospitalization.
United Kingdom: A 64 yo male with ulcerative colitis on vedolizumab and mesalamine. The patient did not require hospitalization.
United States: A 53 yo female with Crohn’s disease on adalimumab and sirolimus. The patient was hospitalized but did not require intensive care or ventilator support.
United States: A female with ulcerative colitis on prednisone/prednisolone and tofacitinib. The patient did not require hospitalization.
Ireland: A 41 yo male with ulcerative colitis on mesalamine. The patient did not require hospitalization.
Spain: a 50 yo male with ulcerative colitis on tofacitinib. The patient did not require hospitalization.
United States: A male with Crohn’s disease on infliximab. The patient did not require hospitalization.
United States: A 30 yo male with ulcerative colitis on tofacitinib. The patient did not require hospitalization.
United States: A 41 yo male with ulcerative colitis on tofacitinib. The patient did not require hospitalization.
Spain: A 35 yo male with Crohn’s disease on infliximab. The patient did not require hospitalization.
Netherlands: A 52 yo female with ulcerative colitis on infliximab, mesalamine, and 6-mercaptopurine.The patient did not require hospitalization.
Italy: A 63 yo male with Crohn’s disease s/p ileocecal resection not on medication. The patient did not require hospitalization.

No mortalities have been reported to the registry to date.

The average number of days symptoms from COVID-19 among the above cases is 5 days.

Just an FYI....there is also a regular cold that has been going around too. My SIL has a horrible head cold with coughing I suspect due to post nasal drip. Apparently, it is pretty common in our state right now (based only on anecdotal information through my friends!). My allergies have kicked in full steam with itchy eyes and drippy sinuses too.
I have crummy respiratory volume normally (I have a hard time getting d/c from hospitals because I can't meet the lung test!). I saw an interesting concept of...if you can take a deep breath and hold it for 10 seconds without coughing, you likely don't have the virus. I don't know how accurate it is...but it is making me feel better.

I live on the east coast and have 75 confirmed cases in my county and it keeps climbing. I have had this very mild cough for 1-2 weeks with zero fever. There is no need for me to get tested, because the hospitals are already short on PPE. We are ordered to shelter in place for next 2-3 weeks. I admire and appreciate the hospital staff who are fighting every day for this disease. Social distancing is the key and everyone is facing sacrifice one way or another.

I wish I had seen this thread before I started mine. I am new here and has taken the test and in isolation for 14 days until the results, I am freaking out over here too.I also agree about the testing.My heart breaks for NY and all the states it has affected,which is all of us.I really don't have to strength to listen to lies,; so I just watch the NY mayor and the Washington and Michigan mayors. Cumo gives detailed of how this virus is going and how it effects his people. I wish we had better leaders who care and just so upset that the government knew in January and dismantled the department that leads on this. The blood is on their hands. There is noway USA should have people dying like this of incompetence. Anyways,;I am just venting for my first post. Sorry. Just in fear of my life and hope I am not infected .Now the government is trying to take our insurance without anything to replace it with. I just don't know how much more of this I can take. I am just going to stay home and wait for my results.Thank you for letting me vent.I am also glad to have a place to vent and who is going through some of the same things as myself.

You need two negative tests (24 hour apart) and absolutely no symptoms. See the following from CDC. How are you feeling? You might be an asymptomatic carrier.

* If you will be tested to determine if you are still contagious, you can leave home after these three things have happened: (1) You no longer have a fever (without the use medicine that reduces fevers); AND (2) other symptoms have improved (for example, when your cough or shortness of breath have improved); AND (3) you received two negative tests in a row, 24 hours apart. Your doctor will follow CDC guidelines.
