Mild symptoms. Is this alarming?

Yesterday, I had weird symptoms. Something was wrong but I couldn't figure it out. I woke up because of a severe headache but I get such headaches because of sinusitis so that was not alarming for me. Took paracetamol but threw it up. Threw up also Nexium and Baclofen and had muscle ache. Slept nearly all day and wasn't feeling well. I had to send a voice note to my work mates and people kept texting me saying my voice sounded sick. I took an antihistamine med before going to bed. In the morning, I was feeling well but now have mild sore throat and mild chest pain. However, I don't feel any pain while breathing. Btw, I'm not running any fever.I texted my GI but he hasn't replied yet. Something is happening. This is not my normal body. I need to sleep a lot. My Remicade infusion is due next week and am just wondering whether I'll take it or not.

My GI replied that it is not alarming but he decided to postpone my infusion for 14 days.

I got the dreaded news today that I am positive for covet9 , i am so scared but i have isolate for 14 more days.

Sorry to hear this Nikki. I just wanted to refer you to the coronavirus thread running here, as there is a post in there regarding cases of those with IBD getting covid 19. Doesn't seem that IBDers suffer any worse than the averages. Hope you get better soon though.

Back in February my daughter was very sick for almost two weeks. She had a fever every day for more than five days and a constant dry cough. She said it felt weird and there was a tightness in her chest like she’d never felt before and she had nausea. We knew about COVID then but it seemed unlikely because there had only been a few cases then from travellers. She’s well now, and if she had it, I’m glad we didn’t worry then like we would be worrying now! I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for the replies. Does a person who tested positive than can later test negative? I am confused.Off to find the thread.
