Would you undergo any scans or scopes these days?

I do have a problem with the motility of my colon. Lately, I get diarrhea to the extent that I become drained. I take an anti-diarrheal and get constipated for 5-7 days and then diarrhea enues. I get severe rectal pain once my rectum gets packed. Actually, it's rectal soreness and pressure on my perianal fistula. Saw my GI 2 weeks ago and he said that I initiate this vicious cicle. I should take a small dose of antidiarrheals. I did as he said and it's the same. Diarrhea hits at any time when I have work, so I take the anti-diarrheal. Yesterday, I had an important work meeting and had to take Imodium to stop diarrhea. At night, I noticed that my abdomen was very much bloated and I can't tolerate the clothes I'm wearing. There is pressure. I have abdominal pain.
I've experienced this more than 6 years ago. I underwent a dynamic MRI and it showed I had secondary megacolon and was treated accordingly but could have normal bms after 3 months of being constipated. I know that my GI would order a kind of scan but I'm afraid of this for fear of getting infected with Coronavirus. Do you undergo scans and scopes or not?

I voted no. I have a MRI procedure within 1 month or so, but I am going to cancel it. This Coronvirus is having tremendous, devastating impact on us in every aspect of our lives. Some people think of it as flu, but it is not. But you may live in area where Covid infections have decreased a lot or your Chron's symptoms cannot wait any longer. So the best bet would be to ask your doctor and if you doctor tells you that you should go, then you probably need to follow your doctor's advice.
