Is Remicade used anymore? Are similar drugs being substituted?

Started it about 4 years ago. It’s still widely prescribed. Almost all IBD meds are expensive and most insurance will require both proof you need it and sometimes negotiating by the doctors. Currently I get Remicade at home because newest insurance company would not pay for more expensive infusion center. A lot of variables come into play as well. Doctors are more likely to suggest something like humira first because you can self inject and requires less monitoring and time. However most of us end up having to switch meds at some point for various reasons so Remicade is still an option.
