I had a blood test to determine my humira levels. This test was done 1 day before my next dose was due. The adalimumab level was >0.6 but the anti adalimumab was 2849ng/ml. Can anyone interprete what this means. All i know is things seem to flare up 3 days before the next dose.

Trough level should be greater than 5 (micrograms/ml) ..... greater than 0.6 means there is some humira in your system.
Anti adalimumab antibodies should be less than 10 nanograms/ml (some say less than 25)

Seems you've developed antibodies sad.
Are you also on imuran?

So what does having antibodies mean. Im not on imuran. The dr put me back on methotrexate

It means your body is destroying the humira. Usually they try to increase the dose, or switch to another med.

Imuran is good for stopping your body thinking of the humira as foreign, and then making antibodies against it. They usually combine the two drugs for that reason.
