Happy Holidays to all of you!
I haven’t been around much and luckily Crohn’s has been under control (although some nasty symptoms the last few days that I have to get checked out) .
Wanted to stop by and say that I hope you are all as well as can be and wishing you a better tomorrow! 🤗

Doing better at the moment. I was put on humor back in June. But within just a few months I developed antibodies. So they switched me to remicade. I've only had 2 loading doses so it has not begun to fully work yet. In the meantime I had to go to urgent care first thing christmas morning. My throat was very inflamed and so was my neck. I had an infection in the thingy that hangs in the back of my mouth. It was sooooo painful and if I laid down it would block my airway. I'm better now tho. How have you been?

Ack! The uvula! I remember getting an infection in that a few years ago, it was so bizarre and terrible! Glad to hear you are feeling better! I hope you have a good response to the Remicade! Things have been fairly quiet for me thankfully🙏
This last week though I’ve had some curious symptoms that I’m not sure if they are a passing thing or a flare in the making. Spent a decent portion of Christmas Day in and out of the bathroom- a lot of urgency and several accidents that I had no control over, along with a pain in my lower right side more around my side/back that may just be a pulled muscle but is oddly timed with my symptoms. Only time will tell. Hopefully it’s not one last gift from 2020. Oh and my insurance company has dictated that I must switch to a biosimilar and not stay on Remicade:/

So many of you helped me get thru difficult times. I appreciate each and every person, their journey and their willingness to share personal stories to help others. Such character and strength are achieved thru experience and sharing our weakest moments and knowledge. You all are warriors and amazing. You humble me.
