Thinking of getting the vaccine. Currently on Remicade and wondering which vaccine would be the best, Pfizer or Moderna . Who has taken which vaccine and what medication are you currently taking. Any side effects from the vaccine?

I got Moderna. I'm on Remicade, 10 mg/kg every 6 weeks. The first shot was fine, the second one I felt pretty rotten for about
24 hours.

I can tell you not everyone has the same reaction, regardless of which medications they are currently taking. Most people seem to have more side effects from the second vaccine, and they seem to last between 24 and48 hours. I had the Moderna vaccine, and suffered absolutely no side effects with the first or second injection.

I’m on Remicade. I got the Pfizer shot in March. No side effects other then a little achy arm for a day or so.
I had my antibodies tested two months ago and had a great response to the vaccine.
It is very very worth it to get the vaccine. Let us know if we can answer any other questions that may still have you hesitating about
it.

They should essentially be comparable - both have even been approved in the States as an additional (3rd) booster for immunocompromised patients with both jabs. I felt unwell the day I received my second jab (Pfizer), but after a long nap, I was back to normal.

I had Moderna vaccine during April-May period. The only side effect from each time is sore arm. I want to get my third booster shot once it is approved by FDA. Before this covid, I avoided flu shot every year. Covid changed everything.

I did pfizer the two injections. My wife did pfizer too. We were mildly sick for two days after the second dose. I think my arm being sore bothered me more than anything else. I would do it again without worry.
I don't worry about
covid anymore. I still wear a mask, I still sanitize, but I don't worry going into stores or crowds or anything at all like that.
I am getting the booster probably this week as soon as they get it all worked out. I do know that my cvs does pfizer so I am getting that brand for sure only because I got it before. My walmart said they do moderna.
I am on humira.

Thank you all for the responses and experiences you have had with the Covid vaccine.
