Hold your Humira shot for a week & you shouldn't have a problem. Go to a drug store & get yourself a good probiotic today. Lots of times antibiotics not only kill the bad flora, but the good flora needed to keep the gut balanced. When I have to take an antibiotic, I always buy Florastor, my dr recommends it. Being on Humira did not cause your teeth to abscess. I've been on Remicade & Humira & never had issues with my teeth.

Does your dr's office not have a patient portal? Does he not have a nurse that can answer questions? It's highly unusual for a dr to just leave without any back up for his patients.

In another post you were wanting to know how to find a new gi. When I am looking for a new dr I do an online search for the top ten drs in my city. Yes, I do look at the reviews & I do not take them as gospel either. You can see how Healthgrades & RateMD's score them. Also look for an IBD Clinic in your city. If I see some I may be interested in I will call their office, usually to ask how long to get an appt, do you take my insurance, kind of brief. If the person answering the phone is a desk dragon, I mark that dr off. If the person answering the phone is unpleasant, it's because the dr allows his staff to treat people that way. Reality is, you will need a referral to see one, but you can do some leg work & take a list of drs to your pcp to get a referral. I went through 4 gi's before finding the one that worked well for me.

When you saw the dentist the forms ask what medications you are on. If it will make you feel better you can tell the dentist you are on Humira but will be holding your dose for a week. Dentist pull teeth all the time with patients that have a variety of conditions.
