Thanks for posting xy,
You're always good at posting about new therapies and such. I've only followed the MAP vaccine development loosely over the last few years. Had sort of forgotten about it. Are they contending that this will be a Crohn's "cure"? Or, another treatment option to keep symptoms under control? Will be interesting to follow either way.
You’re welcome. According to their hypothesis, this vaccine will cure most or all Crohn’s patients.
Their FAQ page:
https://crohnsmapvaccine.com/faq/It’s good to have studies like this that challenge the mainstream paradigm fundamentally, not only theoretically but also on experimental grounds, and aim for “curing”; instead of “managing” and making money off the disease.
If it doesn’t work at all, it will still be helpful for enhancing our understanding of the disease.
Up to this point, the whole thing has mostly been funded by Crohn’s patients and their loved-ones around the world. You can check their facebook pages.
