Anyone have experience with drain setons for Fistulas? I've had them for about 5 months now and still have tons of drainage. Not sure if it's drainage from the fistula or slight incontinence ? It's not like a pus either, very light and watery. Any thoughts?
also, any tips for dealing with the odor? I feel like I've tried everything and it's still constantly there. It's driving me crazy! Does the smell go away after setons are removed??

What does your CR surgeon say? Once my original abscess cleared, the seton barely had drainage. There was some incontinence if I had a lot of diarrhea.

As for the smell, are you covering it with pads or gauze? How often do you change things?

Yep. Change multiple times a day. Definitely helps to cover it up but it’s still there
