I have talked about B12 in the past but wanted to post about it again.
I have had several resections during my life and don't have the part of intestines that absorbs B12.
Most doctors I have talked with about this have told me that doing the injections once a month would provide me with plenty of B12.
For the past six months with the exception of only a few days where I missed doing them I have been injecting B12 every single day. My recent bloodwork now shows a mild B12 deficiency.
I seem to feel better doing these injections daily, but it does not seem that doing them once a month like other doctors have told me is adequate at all. I don't plan on continuing them every single day now that I am only showing a mild deficiency. It just makes me wonder is all.
