Do terminal ileum ulcers cause abdominal pain?

I had a colonoscopy more than two weeks ago and I suffered a lot from abdominal pain after the procedure. The biopsy results were out and I have TI ulcer. I developed lately TI pain which I have always suffered from since 2007. However, when I started Remicade infusions in 2016, I almost forgot about this pain. Now, it returned again. In not any of the previous colonoscopies I had throughout the 15 years of my illness, did either the scope or the biopsy results show I had ulcers. Also, this time my GI suspected these ulcers were malignant which the biopsy did not confirm. I keep wondering whether I should have a CT enterography to examine the rest of my intestines or not or as long as these ulcers were found incidentally during the performance of the colonoscopy, then should not I worry?

Sorry to hear that you're still having issues with pain. If there were ulcerations found in your colonoscopy, to the point that they're rampant and causing a lot of pain, then it might be time to question the effectiveness of the Remicade.

As for a CT, it is certainly a concise diagnostic, but since you just had a recent lower scope with biopsies, that should give you the best look at things. Going forward, if your pain is mild and periodic, and the ulcers found were scant and few, you might want to stay the course for awhile longer. Hope things improve soon.

Budesonide Entocort 3mg works well there in the TI and is designed to be used there.

Uceris 9mg Budesonide also works there some and then is released in the entire colon.
It is a very amazing medicine, but one of the most overpriced ones I have ever seen still it is my favorite one.

Both 73monte and Homeboy, thank you. Well, I have been struggling with both my intestines and colon. Lately, diarrhea and vomiting increased so my GI decided that I should have an MR Enterography. Will see how things go on.
