hey everyone, just a update on me,myself and i! First off I hope all are doing as good as you can be!
I finished my 23rd year on TPN at Xmas time. Yay! Had a couple of hospital stays late in the year. Both for high fevers 🤒with no cause found either stay. In November I did 8 days but made it out the day before my 59th bday😁. Lots of scans,tests and meds. Bill was 120k. Home for a few weeks and the fevers started up again. That time I drove 90 miles up to Seattle and stayed another 9 days. More scans tests and meds still no cause found. Best guess from infectious disease Drs and go Drs was leaky gut or hidden bacteria colony. Since this time was the VA , no bill but assume it was about the same.
Both times came home on IV antibiotics for 2-3 weeks. What fun.
I went through a long period of high fevers about 10- 15 years ago with same no cause findings.
This summer will mark 39 years since I was diagnosed with crohns. Can't believe how time flies🚽💉💊
