How long since you were diagnosed?

I was like that. I was never sick. So healthy it was embarrassing. I took care of my kids thru everything and never caught anything.

2012 my Mom passed away. I got food poisoning at the after service dinner we had for everyone. It took 3 years for my blood work or scopes to show any elevation in inflammation even though I was going to the bathroom 12 to 30 times a day. And since then it has not let up. My Case is severe aggressive fistulizing Crohn's plus UC..

I feel so bad for the people that have had it even longer than I have.

It's a harder journey for some. I wish your journey had been easier.

32 years since diagnosis for me but had it for a number of years before that. No one in my family (a really large one including cousins) has any type of crohn's, UC, IBD.
