Forced change from humira to hadlima

Same thing happened with Remicade, they moved everyone to Inflectra because it was cheaper. The good news on that move was vast majority had no issues. I sure hope the same for you. When I was on Humira it was the old one that stung something fierce, lol.

Well I've used two of the new humira generic. Doesn't hurt any more than the humira. However the injection pen is way different. With the humira it has a thumb push button to activate . and you put the cap back over the needle when done. The new one has to be pushed into the body until it triggers the needle. Takes way too much pressure. It feels like I'm pushing out my back. I literally have a hard time pressing it hard enough. I don't have much belly meat and it partially disappears in my belly. I have to tighten my abs to get it firm enough. Then when done you can't put the cap back on to cover the needle so its still dangerous for being stuck.

The directions are just to push until it fires. I have no meat on my legs so have never done them there😋

Yes he can. But I told him I'd try it for a couple months. This last shot went off with a lot less pressure on the injector. Maybe the first 3 were a little stiff. Got the new boxes yesterday so will see how these 4 go.

I'm scared of that day when Remicade doesn't work for me. There was a lady there that was on it 20.years....is that even possible? ....anyway that's what she said. She was in the trials..... And it worked until she had to go off it for surgery (TKR,) and then she could not take it anymore. She did not take methotrexate or anything like that to stop the possibility of antibody development. Last I heard she was on something new and it was sorta working. My GI PAs daughter has been on it for 15 years. I've been on it for 9.

When Covid first came to the U.S. I remember watching all the countries competing and trying to find a vaccine. It gave me such hope that perhaps this would continue and they'd tackle one disease after another .... But I'm not seeing that. You'd think there would be a cure by now.
