For those that remember, I have bouts of high fevers that very rarely have a dicernable cause. They always think its my line. As normal I waited 2 days to see if it would resolve but it did not. I'm not as tough as I was and they hit me harder now that I'm 60. Lots of antibiotics seemed to break the fever. Will update when I get home😁

Sorry to hear Randy,
Keep us posted. DId you get a cause of the fever? Is it viral perhaps, covid? Hope you're feeling better soon.

Hope you get better soon, Randy. I had a similar bout almost 3 weeks ago. My fever was 39 C and kept fluctuating between 38.5 and 38 for 8 days. I was put then on Invanz (ertapenem) IV antibiotics for 10 days. The GP attributed it to perianal fistula sepsis. My GI was travelling and it was him who prescribed the antibiotic injections. He mentioned that the high fever could have been caused by COVID.

Not covid. Done two nasal and a blood test. All negative. They did move me up a level in a more intensive area for all of the 4 antibiotics and my tpn and because my BP has been under 80/50 all day and my pulse was 35 so they got more worried. Up on both now but still under 100. And pulse in 50's. 😁 so I got the heart monitor on, and lojacked in the bed. Feel like an invalid.

All is good! Going home today. Off all antibiotics. Audible still acting up, but way better. Thanks everybody. the nurses colored me a picture and wrote " patient of the week" 😁 for putting up with all the stuff without whining and complaining. 5 different rooms in 4.5 days!. The latest was midnight last night. Nurse came in and said that they needed the room I was in for a new patient that was coming in. So I was up,packed and in the new one in about
6 min. The new room is a double and came with a snoring, smoker, who would not turn off the tv all night and wanted his tramadol all night!

Hey clo, All good. I'm not a religious person But I would never turn down or be offended by someone who thinks enough of me to pray for me. I've been on so many church prayer chains over the years it has certainly never hurt me😋
And please don't apologize for it to anyone! If some one is bothered by it I say " copulation them" 😁
