hey just recently been tld i haf crohn's. thought the internet wld b a gud place to find out sum info etc. i wrote a big first post but wen i trid to post it my comp screwed up lol neway ttyl.

Welcome Eva,

I'm sorry to hear you have been recently diagnosed with Crohns Disease, but I am so happy you found this site.

Take your time and go back through the pages and read whatever strikes your interest. You will find a wealth of information here.

If you have any other concerns, just post them. You will get many replies from people who have been dealing with Crohns for a very long time and a lot of newbies too that are just learning how to cope with this condition too. There are always people here to help you out. That's what we are all about here at Healingwell. We look out for one another.

Welcome to HW. I love your name.
Glad you found us..... we are all here for each other. Even though most of us know each other strictly through this forum....I truly feel like everyone truly cares here. We know what its like and that in itself gives us great strength. The other thing that might strike you about this forum ...is that we like to laugh at this dreadful disease and what it puts us through. From time to time you will find some truly funny LOL postings about recent " pooping accidents" , our "stinky farts" etc etc. They are wonderful to read....and sometimes they are the only highlight in an otherwise awful day.So come visit often O.K.?

Sorry about your diagnosis, but like everyone has said, this is a great website to put in your bookmarks. I know i come on here at least once a day just to see what is happeneing. But it really is a great support system. actually, just the other day I was having such a bad day I just had to vent, and even though you may have family and friends who are supportive and care about you, sometimes the people here make you feel better then family ever could. I just know that we are all going though the same thing (relatively), so dont hesitate to ask any questions, no matter how silly you feel, I am sure someone here has been through the same situation.
How have you been feeling? Hopefuly not too terrible. and I hope you have a good doctor. Welcome to Healingwell!!
