How many of you have been able to see the BodyWorlds exhibit? for those who don't know, it is plasticized cadavors and really amazing. I just saw it in Portland Or and spent A LOT of time examining intestines! If it comes to a city near you be sure to go...unless things that are a bit gross make you sick. I think most of us can look at just about anything tongue

It was in Boston last year unfortunatly I was having a flare on my week my husband and I took for vacation. Needless to say we didnt do much

I would really recommend it, especially for anyone with health problems. it shows how the body is complex and beautiful. yp

I was in columbus over the weekend and had the opportunity to see it, but i didn't think that i could handle it.

I saw it in San Francisco a few years ago. Even though I'm a biologist, it still made me queasy seeing actual dead humans. I thought it was amazing though, and I stayed for over two hours. I thought the guy holding his own skin like a coat draped over his arm was....weird. But all in all, I was impressed with how they were able to isolate each body system.

I also saw parents with three and four year old children in there, and they were trying to explain to the kids what "dead" meant, etc. Talk about life coming at you fast! lol

I saw it here this spring in Seattle but I didn't have crohn's so I was unable to look at the Intestines in the manner that I would've if I saw it today.  I was up close and personal with the arteries and veins tho.  To give you an idea of the detail that you see, they have an exhibit with just the arteries and another one with just the veins--facinating.

I definately recommend it.  However, if you are a queasy type, you might want to bypass it.

If you are not in the medical field, this experience will be the closest to doing surgury on the real deal that you will get.  =0)

I haven't had a chance to go yet,but I wanted to let anyone is near NC know that it is at the Discovery Place in Charlotte,NC right now.

I hope that I get to go,sounds really interesting.
